Securus Technologies Acquires GovPayNet for Expansion of Payment Service Enterprise

Technology giant Securus Technologies obtained GovPayNet, one of the leaders in processing credit/debit card settlements in the government sector in its bid to expand the entity’s payment service business. Securus provides the so-called technology-driven solutions in government payment transactions specifically the fields of law-enforcement as well as investigation, corrections, and public safety.

 

 

Addition of another Portfolio

 

 

Securus Technologies President and CEO Robert Pickens emphasized this venture of acquiring GovPayNet means the adding of another service that enhances its business and provides more benefits for the target consumers. He gave credit to Mark MacKenzie, GovPayNet chief executive officer along with his management team and employees for their experience of more than two decades building a business with premium quality service and ability to fulfill their customers’ needs. It also strives to upgrade services for the welfare of consumers.

 

 

Securus Technologies looks at building on its expertise in introducing convenient and seamless payment solutions to people who make use of and benefit from public services. According to CEO Pickens, Securus Technologies now can process more than 40 million payments every year. The technology company plans to branch out to other segments shortly. Securus Technologies also collaborated with JPay in 2015 to come up with an essential platform for digital or electronic payments, communications, education, and entertainment.
